Carbon steel butt-weld elbows stacked in the warehouse, Cangzhou, China

Carbon Steel Elbow Supplier | ASME B16.9 Butt Weld

Carbon steel elbows change the direction of a pipeline, and they are the fitting most often missing from a mixed order. As a carbon steel elbow supplier based in Cangzhou, China, we make butt-weld elbows certified to ASTM A234 WPB in 90, 45 and 180 degree, for projects in the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Send us your fitting list and we usually quote within 24 hours.

Description

Every piece is heat-number stamped and ships with an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate, so the material can be traced back to the heat it came from. Our factory holds API Q1 and ISO 9001 certificates, and inspection by SGS, BV or your own nominated third party is welcome before dispatch. Small quantities and mixed sizes are our daily work, so a short list is welcome.

Buyer FAQ

What is the difference between a long radius and a short radius elbow?
A long radius elbow has a centre-to-end distance of 1.5 times the pipe diameter (R = 1.5D); a short radius elbow is 1.0D. Long radius is the standard choice because the gentler bend causes less pressure drop, and short radius is used where space is tight.

What material are your carbon steel elbows made of?
ASTM A234 WPB / ASME SA234 WPB, the standard wrought carbon steel butt-weld fitting material for general and low-temperature service.

What sizes and wall thicknesses can you supply?
NPS 1/2 to 48 to ASME B16.9, in wall thickness matching your pipe schedule from Sch 10 to XXS. Ends are bevelled to ASME B16.25 so they weld straight onto the pipe.

Does every item come with a 3.1 certificate?
Yes. Every shipment includes an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate listing the heat number, and the same heat number is stamped on the part, so the document traces back to the piece you receive.

Can different items be shipped together in one order?
Yes. Flanges, butt-weld elbows and tees can be combined into one shipment with a single document set, which keeps a mixed order to one freight cost.

Do you ship to the UAE and Oman?
Yes. Our main export market is the Gulf: the UAE, Oman and Saudi Arabia. Export documents are prepared for destination customs, and third-party inspection can be arranged before dispatch.
