Description
A105 flanges are produced from killed carbon steel forgings, normalized or quenched and tempered where the order requires. Every flange carries a heat number stamp, and each batch ships with an EN 10204 3.1 material test certificate, so the material can be traced back to the heat. Our factory holds ISO 9001 and API certificates, and inspection by SGS, BV or your nominated third party is welcome before dispatch.

What is an ASTM A105 flange?
ASTM A105 (also written SA105) is the standard specification for carbon steel forgings for piping components. An A105 flange is a forged carbon steel flange made to this specification, normally used with ASME B16.5 dimensions for flanges up to NPS 24.
What is the difference between A105 and SA105?
There is no difference in material. ASTM A105 is the specification published by ASTM; SA105 is the same material adopted in the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code with an S prefix. If your purchase order or drawing says SA105, we supply A105 material certified to it.
What sizes and pressure classes are available?
A105 flanges are supplied from NPS 1/2 to NPS 48 in weld neck, slip on, blind, socket weld, threaded and lap joint types. Pressure classes run from 150 to 2500. Facing options are raised face, flat face and ring type joint.
What documents come with an A105 flange shipment?
Every shipment includes an EN 10204 Type 3.1 material test certificate traceable to the heat number stamped on each flange, plus packing list, commercial invoice and certificate of origin. Third-party inspection by SGS or Bureau Veritas can be arranged before dispatch.
