Mingyang Pipe Fittings Co., Ltd. provides technical documentation, selection guidance and customisation support for pipe fittings and flanges. This page describes the scope of our technical support and how to reach us.

The following documents are available to customers and to buyers preparing an inquiry:
- Product specification sheets
- Dimensional drawings and tolerance tables
- Material Test Certificate according to EN 10204 3.1, supplied with every shipment
- Heat treatment records, dimensional reports and coating records, where specified in the order
- Materials and standards
- Carbon steel: ASTM A105, ASTM A234 WPB, ASTM A350 LF2
- Stainless steel: ASTM A182 F304, F304L, F316L
- Alloy steel and other grades: on request
- Flanges: ASME B16.5
- Butt welding fittings: ASME B16.9, ASME B16.28
- Butt welding ends: ASME B16.25
- Flange faces: raised face (RF), flat face (FF), ring type joint (RTJ) on request
Materials and standards are confirmed in each quotation against your requirement.
- Dimensions and wall thickness
Dimensions and tolerances follow the applicable ASME standard. Wall thickness follows the pipe schedule: ASME B36.10M for carbon steel, ASME B36.19M for stainless steel.
Flange pressure class follows the pressure-temperature ratings in ASME B16.5. Butt welding fittings do not carry a pressure class; their pressure capability follows the matching pipe wall thickness. - Selection and customisation support
For special service conditions or non-standard requirements we provide:
- Material and pressure class recommendations based on service conditions (pressure, temperature, medium)
- Custom dimensions, wall thickness and flange faces made to drawings or to samples
- Marking solutions (steel stamp, laser, paint) and packing solutions
Custom orders require written confirmation of specifications and lead time before production starts. Drawings requiring approval under a licensed professional engineer’s seal are reviewed and stamped by the buyer’s engineering team or by the engineering body responsible for the project.
- Pre-quotation technical questions
Before you request a quotation we assist with:
- Class and pressure rating correspondence for the standard applicable to your project
- Material suitability for the service, including temperature, corrosion and sour service
- Compliance with the ASME and ASTM standards applicable to your order
- Installation and acceptance guidance for butt welding fittings and flanges
- Inspection and testing
Dimensional and visual inspection is carried out on every piece before packing. Hydrostatic testing, positive material identification, ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing, magnetic particle testing and penetrant testing are available where specified in the order. Third-party inspection by SGS, BV or an inspector named by the buyer is arranged before shipment. - Contact
